The popular Land Rover
Discovery was redesigned in 1999 and dubbed the "Series II."
The Series II was a remake of what was possibly the most
capable off-road vehicle available at the time and became a
truly useful, refined and comfortable luxury SUV for people
who stay on the road.

My wife bought this unique
Land Rover Discovery from a family she used to baby sit for.
She loved it so much, she bought it when they were ready to
trade it in. Land Rover calls the color "Kinversand."
I have no idea what Kinversand means...it looks more like
"Sonora Sunset" or "Tequila Sunrise" to me. Whatever
it's called, it is unequivocally the nicest color
I've ever seen on a Land Rover.

The original owners had 3 children
who needed to be entertained in the car - so it was equipped
with a DVD player with dual screens in the headrests and a
CD changer. Since the children had friends and
sometimes needed to be separated, they ordered it with 3rd
row jump seats, for a total seating capacity of 7. The
tan leather interior is in excellent shape.
This
Discovery has a trailer hitch, wiring harness, self-leveling
suspension and has a maximum towing capacity of 7,700
pounds. This car is loaded.
Rather than list the options, it's easier to say that the
only option packages it doesn't have are the performance
package and cold climate package.
An excellent description
of standard and optional features can be found
here.
